UPCOMING CONCERTS Shining Moments 
About the concert: Kim Erickson will be singing with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra in a cabaret style concert, which will be a moving tribute to Canadian veterans, journeying back to the days of World War II with classics like "La Vie en Rose" and "The White Cliffs of Dover", while honouring veterans of all eras with heart felt contemporary selections, including Kim's own songs. When: Friday November 11th and Saturday November 12th, 2011, 8 P.M. Where: Italian Cultural Centre, 132 S. Algoma St., Thunder Bay, Ontario. Tickets available at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. A Spanish Flavour About the concert: This concert, presented by Consortium Aurora Borealis, features music of De Falla, Rodrigo, Tarrago, Villa-Lobos, Albeniz, Sor, Turina, Tarrega, with readings from Lorca. Kim Erickson, mezzo soprano and Joseph Roy, guitar. When: Saturday December 3rd, 2011, 8 P.M. Where: St. Paul's United Church, 349 Waverley Street, Thunder Bay, Ontario. No tickets, but suggested donation at the door is $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. LOOKING BACK Kim had a special performance during the Image Sacred Dance Concert on Friday June 10th, 2011. On this evening celebrating the heart of modern and sacred dance, she sang some inspiring music. Erin Brophey, oboe, also accompanied one of the groups of dancers.
